April, Danny, Kip, and Heath had one hell of a cruise on The Mystique.
--Doug was kicked off a new project at Collins Arch and was given to Kimberly and Ken.
--Vivian and Bennett were very shocked to see Wes in Seattle.

And now...

EVERY TIME IT RAINS

O'Reilly Pub

James O'Reilly handed the customer change for his vodka, when the front door swung open. He looked up as his face filled with joy.

“Marianne!” he called into the back room. “Come on out!”

“What on earth?” Marianne O'Reilly muttered as she came out of the back room. As she was about to inquire about James’ request, she saw her granddaughter and Danny Whittaker walking towards them. "Agh!" She gasped and ran from behind the bar and into the open arms of April. “Welcome home! We missed you!”

April returned the warm embrace as she took in her surroundings. “I’ve missed you all too!”

Danny took a seat at the bar as he watched this touching moment. “The cruise was great. I think it was just what we needed.”

“I’ll bet.” James concurred as he slid Danny a cold beer.

Marianne led April to the bar as she asked, “Did you take a lot of pictures?”

“Of course we did. But I don’t have them with me.” explained April.

“I can’t wait to see them!” crowed Marianne. Her world felt complete now that her beloved granddaughter was home from her trip. “Tell us all about it!”

April gave Danny a slight look, unsure if she wanted to tell them everything that had occurred, since Madame Luce was still haunting her.

Doug Hudson's Apartment

Doug Hudson walked up in front of his door. What a day! He thought.

And the week has only begun and what a week it's been already. His estranged father suddenly shows up out of no where to get his son back.

Doug smirked. Whatever dad. Although the two weren't very close now, Doug knew his father and how he worked. There was a certain reason Wes was in town, if only he knew.

Doug slipped his key in the door. Now his ex-wife, the woman he still loves, is in love with someone else, who is also slowly trying to take away Doug's position at Collins Arch.

Well, Doug thought, not if he had anything to do with it. If there is one thing Doug shares with his father, it's their strength and determination. No way was he giving up without a fight.

Doug opened his door to his apartment and walked over to his couch. He gently threw his briefcase on the couch, like he always did when he got home.

"Hey!"

A voice from the couch made Doug jump back. "Who's there?" Doug asked finding the lamp next to the couch and switching it on.

Doug looked at the couch and frowned. "Oh no. What are you doing here?"

KQTY Radio

“All right, who do we have next?” Parker Collins asked Derek Myers.

“This is Lisa from Seattle.” Derek relayed. "But before that, maybe I can convince you to have breakfast with me in the morning, after an evening in bed of course." He cooed and gave a sexy smile.

Parker looked up at Derek. "Not on company time Derek. Now please connect me to the caller."

Derek's face turned to a look of hurt and he dropped his eyes to the floor. "Ok." He said walking out of the room.

Parker shook her head and put her mind back on her job. “All right! This is Parker, what can I do for you?” Parker asked in her best radio voice.

The other line was complete silent except for the sound of a few cars whizzing by.

“Hello?” asked Parker with a bit of trepidation.

Silence.

"Don’t be shy…we don’t bite…” Parker and Derek exchanged worried looks through the glass, neither quite knowing what to do. Parker began to think about the last time someone called and hung up on her. This is weird, she thought.

“Lisa…”

With that, the line went dead.

Outwardly, Parker shrugged it off and fielded the next call, but something wasn’t quite right about this person. For some reason she was on edge and it wasn’t a feeling she liked.

O'Reilly Pub

“Danny, can I talk to you?” April asked as her grandparents looked on quizzically.

“Yeah, sure.”

“We’ll be right back.” April smiled.

She dragged Danny to a cozy corner of the pub. “What’s wrong?” Danny asked.

Torn, April sighed. “I don’t know what to do.”

“About what?”

“I don’t know if I should tell them about the psychic we saw.”

“No.” Danny stated forcefully. “Don’t bring it up, April.”

April ran her fingers through her hair, unable to think of any solution to her problem. “Shouldn’t they know…I mean, what if something bad happens to them?”

“April, listen to me. There’s no sense in getting everyone all riled up for something some old wack job told us. It means nothing. Do you really want everyone to worry for nothing?”

“No.”

“Then don’t tell your grandparents. Spare them. Even though it's all fake, if they see you worried they will be worried. We both know them. They worry about everything."

Danny’s words made all the sense in the world. She hugged him and nuzzled against his chest.

If she trusted Danny's words so much then why did she still have the lingering feeling that, for some reason, there was something to worry about.

Doug Hudson's Apartment

"Surprised to see me bro?"

Heath Hudson, Doug's brother asked with a huge grin.

Doug slumped down in a chair next to the couch. "More shocked actually. How did you get in here?"

"Oh I have a few secrets from the old days. The days where mom and dad tried numerous amounts of time to keep me locked away in the house. Ya know, the rebellious years."

Doug grinned. "Heath, you broke into my house. What's to say I don't call the cops right now?"

"I'm your brother. You can't call the cops on your brother." Heath said getting up and going into the kitchen.

"That's debatable." Doug said rubbing his eyes. He looked up and saw Heath grab some grapes out of the fridge. "Hey, what do you think this is the supermarket?"

"I'm hungry. I hardly have any money to eat since mom and dad cut me off."

Doug walked over to his brother. "Well what do you expect from a son who tells his parents he hates them and runs away."

"Hey! I let them know where I am from time to time."

Doug looked down at his brother. "Heath, what are you doing here?"

"I just got off of a cruise. It was awesome. I loved it. I brought back some seashells for ya."

"Great." Doug said sarcastically.

Heath looked at Doug in a way that Doug never wanted to see. Doug knew what Heath wanted now and it couldn't happen.

"Heath, you have to go home."

"Come on Doug. I can't go home. I can't have them run every inch of my life and I am not going to follow in their footsteps. I'm not like them, I'm not Kyle. I am not going to be caught under dad's mind control. You, of all people, should understand what I mean. You escaped it."

Doug looked at Heath with compassion. Doug knew very well. He could actually see a lot of himself inside Heath. Heath had a shorter fuse than Doug, but their motives were just the same.

"Come on Doug man. I like it here in Seattle. I promise I'll stay here until I get a job, which I will begin looking for right away and once I have enough money to move out on my own I will. Just give me six months at the most and I will be out of your hair. I swear." Doug began to shake his head. "Plus your my brother man. I think out of the entire family you and I have the most in common. I need that right now. Someone in this family to be with me, I don't want to be against my entire family."

Doug couldn't help but agree with Heath. They were the two oddballs of the Hudson clan. Their sister escaped to another country, their mother became a recluse to anything family oriented, and their father and brother were one in the same. How could he say no?

"Alright Heath. You can stay here. Only until you have enough money to get your own place and then your outta here. Plus your gonna have to help me with some of the bills, so you better get working on that job."

Heath smiled and gave his brother a hug. "Thanks Doug. This really means a lot to me. You don't know how thankful I am."

"No problem Heath. Anything for my little brother." The two broke up the hug. "Oh you can have the room that's down the hall, last door to your left."

"Oh yeah I already put my stuff back there." Heath said as he started walking down the hall. Doug shook his head and gave a slight smile. "I'm gonna go get the pictures from the cruise."

As Doug stood there, he started to think. "Oh Heath!" He called out before his brother could leave, but Heath had already gone inside his room.

How in the world was Heath going to react when he finds out their father is also in Seattle?

KQTY Radio

“This is Parker, what can I do for you?”

“Am I on the air?” a feeble female voice asked.

“Yup. What’s going on?”

After a slight beat, she said, “I…I killed someone.”

Parker’s eyes lit up like fire. She had never experienced something like this before and it was truly unnerving. She didn’t know if this was nothing but a sick joke, but she decided to keep the caller on the line.

“When did you do this?”

“I killed someone.” the woman repeated. “I don’t know what to do. I really don’t…”

“Have you gone to the authorities?” She looked up at Derek in the control room, his eyes in disbelief. Parker just shook her head and gave him a concerned look.

“No!” she yelled. “No! I killed someone!” she said as she began to cry.

“Maybe you should…" Parker thought to herself for a minute. She really needed to keep talking to this caller and keep her on the phone. "Why did you kill him?”

The caller hung up without a reply.

Shaken, Parker leaned back in her chaire as Derek cut the show for commercials. He ran burst inside the recording studio. "What was that all about?"

Parker shook her head. "I really have no idea. A joke I hope."

This had been the oddest day of her professional life and it didn’t sit well with her. What the hell is going on?

Brett Abshire's Hotel Room

"I killed someone!

Brett Abshire couldn't believe his ears when he heard the confession on Parker's radio show.

That couldn't possibly be...he thought to himself. It couldn't be.

Why call on the radio station? Why Parker? Is Parker somehow involved?

Well it's a good thing he is keeping close to Parker. It could help him in the end. He would have to speak with her tomorrow.

Brett turned off the radio as it cut to a commericial and layed back in bed, hopefully drifting off to a nice peaceful sleep instead of the nightmares he was so used to having.
